Besides its business activity, Severochema does not forget about institutional activity. Sponsorship activities of the cooperative are focused mainly on education, helping the handicapped and nature protection. In 2000 Severochema established an account Drop in the sea, where it deposits a part of every sold piece of the Seacare cosmetics, containing salt from Dead Sea. The funds from this account are then utilized to finance stays of asthmatic and allergic children at the sea. An important event in the educational sphere is a contest called Junior manager which is organized since 2000 every year by Severochema together with the Technical University in Liberec. The authors of the best diploma works are awarded by an expert committee the title of Junior manager of the year, together with some prise money.
